Patients who are diagnosed with head and neck cancer, and have a treatment plan which includes receiving radiation therapy to the head and neck, with or without chemotherapy, usually have predictable treatment side-effects. These side-effects sometimes become so severe that the basic treatment itself needs to be interrupted.

Interruption of treatment can reduce successful outcome. We can provide assistance with treating such side-effects. This is an accepted approach in cancer therapy today.

Complete oral evaluation is often requested by your physician prior to the onset of cancer therapy to help to avoid such side-effects.
